Mame X And Resetting ?

I don't have mame installed but I went and did a search on the topic by using the search button and I got 13 results each with saying to press start and select at the same time to reset to mame x menu.

                                    Back+Start resets to the MAME ROM loading screen.  AFAIK there is no 'reset to evox' function in MAME.   Hopefully it will be in the next vers.

There is a "reboot" function... I forgot exactly what it is, Black or White button at the menu.
