*scratches head* that reply doesn't even make sense......
first off, try 'em out on the MAME emulator for the comp. Make sure the zip files are named correctly. Second of all (don't know if this would cause 'em not to appear, tho), if they're Neo-Geo ROMs, make sure that you add the files from Neo-Geo.zip into each ROM file. For some reason, MAME-X doesn't find the required Neo-Geo BIOS unless you include it in every archive that requires it (i.e. all Neo-Geo games).

So I gues I'll have to translate:

Had he used ROMCENTER he would have quickly found out WHY only 16 roms showed up. In the process he also would have installed the PC version of Mame, read the docs, and maybe even hit upon the prior threads where -I- first pointed out that the NeoGeo roms must be included in the zips.

Romcenter would have taken care of the renaming, merging, etc. to boot, and in general saved a lot of grief.
