Shifting Screen, Incomplete Zips, On Mame-x

2 questions for you Mame-x experts:

1.  On my television the mame-x screen is a bit too high.
Is it possible to shift mame-x so it displays it's screen a bit lower?
How?  (I looked at the config file and can't quite figure it out).

2.  Quite a few Mame ROMs that I try end up with all sorts of errors.
The errors are always a list of files that aren't available.
This is as if the ZIP is incomplete (missing files).
I'm sure the roms must contain all the files otherwise the site I got
them from probably wouldn't have it posted (happened on many files).
    Is something configured incorrectly?

Thanks

1: Yes you can adjust this, but you'll need to play with the settings.

2: No the roms are indeed incomplete.

Most "downloaded" roms are a subset required to play a game. The PC version of Mame is smart enough to pull the missing roms from other zip files.

MameX does not have enough RAM to do this, so it relies on having ALL of the required ROMS for a game (or clone) in a single zip file (that is small enough for it to unpack).

You will need to FULLY merge your roms, and even include any other missing bios files (like the Neo-Geo.bin files) for the respective games.

Use CLRMAME and ROMCENTER to do this for you, as you'll have no way of doing this by hand.
