Mame Can It Hurt Your Xbox,

Can Mame or any other EMULATOR mess up your Modded Xbox, I know when the mame games run they say something about loading bios stuff in memory or searching for weird stuff.  Is it possible to mess up a Xbox, when it does the weird stuff with the colors.  Also, some mame games use like a tall screen mode, is that bad on a TV???

No.

The BIOS that is being loaded is was ripped from an old hardware board. Make doesn't "flash" your Xbox or affect it's BIOS in any way.

The ROMS that are loaded get pulled up for each of the virtual emulators MAME uses.

Re: Mess up, no..

MameX (unlike the PC version) specifically DOES NOT switch screen resolutions (unless you modify the mame.ini file to permit this, which you should NOT do). So it stays in a mode compatible with your tv.
