Few Compiling Questions
« on: July 30, 2007, 04:21:00 PM »

Thank you very much for the overwhelming help.
Someone asked "Why Is The Xbox Modding Scene So Dead?". Well, clearly who could keep it alive don't want it to be. I was hoping that the people who know would be happy to share their knowledge to keep things going, but boy was I wrong.

Few Compiling Questions

Let's be clear...
This forum is the merge (by mistake, but it's too late to fix that) of 2 forums :
- one dedicated to XDK (illegal)
- one dedicated to OpenXDK (legal)

The one dedicated to OpenXDK is not dead, and I will be happy to answer questions about it.

About XDK, I don't know and I don't want to know. For me, that thing doesn't even exist.

Alright, well now I know tongue.gif
Well, the funny thing is that originally I installed cygWin along with OpenXDK, but couldn't find any solid help about SDLx functions (which lack documentation). In addition, I was using Dev-C++ to compile, and Dv-C++ was returning me a lot of clear-like-mud erros (i.e. the kind of errors one can expect from Windows XP). So I thought "Fine, I'll get the official XDK and surely I'll have less problem", but now you tell me I won't get help for that tongue.gif
Ok then, I'll reinstall OpenXDK. I'll open a new thread because I have questions about Dev-C++ MinGW with OpenXDK.
