Openxdk Dead?
« on: June 17, 2007, 11:21:00 AM »

Hi!
I know there wasn't an OpenXDK release since 2005. But I really love OpenXDK.
Is OpenXDK dead, won't there be any newer releases?
who is working on OpenXDK at the moment?

This is awesome news.  Hopefully the Xbox homebrew scene will pick again up as the OpenXDK becomes more viable, as most projects will be able to easily make the Xbox another target in compiler options, rather than spend lots of time rewriting code, and then freely distribute the resulting binary.

Good news!
I still hope that OpenXDK will be an alternative for M$ XDK. A friend of mine owns the real XDK, but I don't have one and won't download it because this is a crime. blink.gif

I'm just comiling OpenXDK to play around a bit with it.

openxdkman, are you developing OpenXDK?
I'm new here in X-S forums, so I don't know.

Anyway OpenXDK is great, go on!

For all you newbies out there: Check out http://www.xbdev.net/openxdk! Great tutorial!
