hi guys, i have recently gotten my hands on a Debug kit, the problem i have is, that the debug kit didn't come with a hard drive. i need to find out how to install a new hard drive in the debug kit. i've read that i have to have the Xbox Recovery CD but i don't know where to find one. I've tried to install a harddrive from another xbox and that didn't work, it just caused my xbox to lock up. i've tried a Slayers cd and that didn't work either. i was wondering if anyone had any tips on installing a new hard drive in a Debug kit. i think another suggestion was to get the XDK and try to ftp, but i don't know how i'm going to be able to do that if it freezes everytime i put a harddrive in the xbox.

mods you can lock this. i've figured out how to do it. in case everyone is wondering how i did it. after obtaining the xdk, i put a new hard drive in an xbox w/ a mod chip, i copied the necessary files over, then put the harddrive back in the debug xbox. just to make 100% sure it back to factory, i then did a factory restore. works great now. gotta love google!
