Open Xdk Won't Install Or Run On Windows Vista Beta

I am running to operating system Windows Vista Beta which comes out in full version in summer 2006 (like that's gonna happen.) Well anyways, i downloaded and install CYGIN (i don't think i splled that right) and installled all the packages. When i go to run CYGIN to install OpenXDK all it does is flashes the new Command Prompt and then it disaperars to not be seen. Then it freezes and i have to restart the computer. And after it finishes and gets to windows desktop it says "Windows has recovered from a serious error." So does anyone know how to install this thing on Windows Vista cause its really anoying me now and no i can't get back to Windows XP. Or does anyone know of any program that can create dashboards. Unless someone has a easier to "read" tutorial on how to install OpenXDK, cause i may of missed a step.
