You need a different debug bios. One that supports the full size of your drive.

The basic gist of the post is that someone who hardly understands what hes doing (supported by the fact hes using a softmod) probably shouldnt be tinkering with the xdk.

Yes I enjoy to softmod flame

Just because people use softmods doesn't mean they have no idea what they are doing.  You can run the XDK just fine on a softmodded Xbox whilst still retaining your normal dash via dual-boot.  Infact, I wrote an installer just to do that.  There is a link in my sig, for anyone interested.  v1.5 coming VERY soon with full 4627, 5849, and 5933 support!

Well to those that aprreciate it i'm glad to be of service,

This application has yet again done what i usually do, It has given something back to the scene that has given me so much.

To the Haters.
yes, it's simple.
it didnt even take me 20 minutes,
Only thousands of people could have done it, I'm the one that did,
So thankyou for pointing out that i'm nice enough to put simple shit together for all the people who maybe dont know as much as me or you.

And a BIG shout to anyone in the sky, a box, or of a superhero background tongue.gif

And to everyone else, You already have more stuff by me wink.gif
Differance is i cant always put my name to it,

I'm also thinking you guys shoudl be nice - he took time to compile it and put it up.

It may just be nice for those of us that are new at the XDK stuff...maybe.

I personally think Obie is doing a good job. I've seen his earlier debug packages and this is definitely a huge step in the right direction.

As for installing debug with XDI. I think that's the only real problem. XDI is fine, but many people still have a tough time finding all the required files. If there was information on where to get XDI and how to use it. I think it would be a much better application.

You cant be serious, all he did was download a bunch of software and zip them together. All that does is save people 3 extra minutes. Just saves you two extra clicks from downloading. Know how?? What are you talking about? If people didnt know how to do it in the first place, they're still not gonna know how to if you give them the tools. Not hating, it's just that I dont package up XLink Kai and XBC and release with my name and credit all over it as, THE ULTIMATE GAME TUNNELING SYSTEM.

Here's how I see it. I havn't seen any self coded applications from Obie. Maybe he doesn't have any programming knowledge and then maybe he does. Maybe he likes the spotlight or maybe he doesn't. Those two points I don't really care about.

Why should I get all fussed up over whether or not he is trying to gain himself creds? Wouldn't it be more productive to show my appreciation for his work hoping that his releases get better and better? We all start from nothing and have to work our way up. His methods may not be perfect but he's trying.

His earlier releases were some 400MB monsters. He has come a long way. I see areas of improvement, but that doesn't mean I need to give him a hard time.

It just seems better to me to give constructive criticism rather than the opposite.

mov capture function works fine but the gameplay are extremely lagged and when i encode and save to my PC, there's no sound

i've tested the mov capture with Forza, Burnout Revenge and GTA SA...all the mentioned games run extremely lagged  uhh.gif

after all, this ISN'T an original release ?
it's just ripped off some tools XDK and zipped it into his own "release" ?
how lame is that.... like other forumer said
save your few clicks doesn't really deserve credit ... especially 'stealing'

I have a feeling you need more RAM to support this - not sure, but I saw a thread or something on it...
