Your code should work... a couple of quick questions:

Does the call to XLaunchXBE() return?
Have you tried running another XBE?

Apps & Games on xbox are hard-coded to D:\
You will have to remount D:\ to the path of the xbe you wish to run, then launch D:\whatever.xbe

Although the flashing of the LED generally only occurs on a serious error in code.

CODE
XMountDrive('d', 'e:\\');

it's the UIX dashboard I'm calling, the folder it calls is hardcoded, but only the name of the folder, so long as that folder is in the same place as UIX, then there's no problems.

secondly, I don't think g0at3r read my post correctly, the LED flashing different colours is intentional, it's part of my code.

I've also tried to launch XBMC now, and that bombed too.

CODE
debugPrint("hi there\n");
XSleep(5000);

Does it print that message?

well, I've just shot myself of launching that XBE, I've finally simplified it down, and made an LED colour hack for Nkpatcher, if anyone's interested, give me a bell.

I can understand your frustration, however, if this is a genuine problem that may be affecting other users, I would prefer to know a few more details so I can at least try to fix it...

Does the call to XLaunchXBE() return? (you can easily check this using the code I posted earlier)

Also, does it help if you add the XMountDrive() statement before trying to call XLaunchXBE()?  Thanks.
