I have currently setup XBMC to stream low-quality content off my floormates ReplayTV and it works nearly flawlessly. I was curious if it was possible to take this replayTV interaction to the next level. DVArchive is written in java. Is there any java implementation on Xbox or would it have to be run through xdsl or some other distro like gentooX.
On a completely different approach I know that XBMC is pretty good at running python scripts. Would it be possible to run bittornado (written entirely in python) through XBMC and have it download to the harddrive? It seems quite possible, but I am not sure how well the TCP/IP interface is implemented in xbmc python.
Any comments or advice is appreciated.
