the HDD encrypted key used to calculate the HDD password (for locking/unlocking) is stored in the eeprom.

now the big questions is: how to calculate the HDD encrypted key?

i already tried some combos with xbox and hdd serials# with the common enc schemes, but no lucky.  sad.gif

yes, but av region and game region can be gotten easily and if the MAC is used to calculate the HDD key, it might be possible to get it by connecting through network (if it can at least boot) and get it that way. i don't want to go into the technical stuff right now. just looking to see if people would be interested in coding for it.
