Normal Maps
« on: February 28, 2005, 08:05:00 PM »

Hey, I'm a 3d modeler and i have no experience with programming,
nor any strong knowlege of xbox hardware.

I'm wondering if the xbox supports normal mapping.
If anyone has info or details on this could you please reply?
Rice the coder of the 1964 Nintendo 64 emulator / n64 video plugin author
has just release a new version of his plug-in which allows loading user made
high-resolution textures based on the original maps CRC.

I would like to see this new plugin version ported to xbox if anyone knows
who ported project 64x, but also before porting that, I am trying to convince
Rice to also support normal mapping in the next version, and would like to
know if this concept would be viable in an xbox port of the plugin.
