I love that idea, and Might just help you out in the future. im working with DX in VB right now (because I have more experience with it), and C++ doesn't look to be much different. once I get a little more experience I will be talkin to ya

I'm experienced in C++ and semi-experienced (Enough for this project) with the XDK.

I've got plenty of time should you need me, however i don't wanna take it away from the first chap!

I have to wait until I sell my house to do this.
I live in the country and only have dialup through work.
The work firewalls dont allow MIRC or peer to peer so I cant get the XDK yet.

I know there is the Open one but I would like to get the real one. Also Im a .net junky and will need to play with C# some more. I found a load of animated gif files now I need to find sounds and backgrounds.

don't you have 2 banks of 512k in an x2b lite? maybe im wrong but i tought it has 1 meg.

Also I popped out the pins and soldered it to a pinheader.

Just use the Phoenix bios loader: problem solved.

You really have two banks of 512 k.

You only need to reflash it and put the two bios you want(1 debug, 1 anything you want)

Not quite sure if you have to flash a 1meg image or if you can flash each bank separatly, but i'm sure someone else could answer that or searching a little should give you the answer.
