Why is this so difficult?

Phoenix bios loader (and all the  other variants of it) just load a new bios from your hard drive when you select off of whatever launcher that you are using.  Problem solved.  It doesn't matter what modchip you have.

that's not really the greatest solution though.  If your app is hard crashing the xbox and you have to PBL every time to get into debug mode you are like tripling the time from reboot -> debug ready.

I think it's an EPROM issue. If I can fix the EPORM I think it will load.

But Now I need another chip to fix the EPROM.

I think the bios I had on the chip had a embedded EPROM in it.

The EPROM I loaded to the Xbox was from a 1.0 Xbox and this Xbox is a 1.4

I have another 1.4 I will copy the EPROM from it and re flash it.

I will need to get my Xenium back from my cousin and use it to replace the EPROM.
The thing is I need to save this HD. It was my last one. I already lost a 10 giger when it corrupted the EPROM the first time. ( Xenium thing)

you can also reflash the chip correctly with a programmer.

Well I got my xbox back up and running. Seems you can’t use an Eprom from a 1 on a 1.4.
My Xbox was restored and TSOPed.
I will try the BFM thing.
