Debug Bios

Hi Guys

I have been searching for a fix for my problem for hours, so thought I would post.

Basically Im working on something that requires me to take screenshots, so obviously I need a debug bios.

The first few I tried just gave me a screen flicker, so i assumed I needed one with focus chip support, got that and I can get into the xdk launcher fine.

I only have a 256k flash chip, so obviously I am using BFM bios and running them as an app (PBL).

Now my problem arises when I try to boot evox.  i have tried renaming evoxdash.xbe to xshell.xbe, and also using the original xshell.xbe, I have tried renaming evoxdash.xbe to xboxdash.xbe, both give me a black screen with the eject led flashing eject & amber.

I have also tried editing dashboard.xbx in a hex editor so it would load evox straight off, but it still just loads xshell.xbe.

I have tried a few complex bfms, as well as a guex-net one for 1.4 consoles.

Any help would be much appreciated.

after you put the dev kit on the E drive then put evox in that folder and then you will be able to load evox from the xdk launcher

as far as i know, the pbl-metoo loader doesnt work with the BFM debug for 1.6 users.  the Debug Bios uses a different loader, not sure what it is cuz its named "loader" lol, but i got it from yoshi....
