well, a friend had talked me out of persuing this idea, but we decided it best to be left on the forums...
ok, my idea is to spoof all "specific" information the xbox sends to MS to prevent xbox live bans, even playing modified
like:
bios hash
Hard drive contents scan
hard drive serial #

so to accomplish this, you must have a transparent packet capture\rewrite software.
the software must either capture the packet before encryption, or capture after encryption, but then decrypt(but would be very inefficient)and re encrypt again*last resort*
all hashes must be pre made for specifics, i.e. original bios hash, original hard drive serial. the speculated scan of the hard drive, would have to be hacked to say that only factory files are present. all cache drives must also be worked with, as to what information is displayed from a scan(no illegal app info).

and if all of the above is possible, i propose that the software do a media check to determine if the game is on a legal xbox-dvd. and to prevent code tampering of the media check, the software needs to be compiled with openxdk, and no source publically released.
