Network Game Cacheing And Booting

Well I was thinking if it was possible if we could code and app that would log you onto an ms workgroup or domain and access files, say xbox games and cache them on say a 10gb hd from a 600gb server or so then when caching done it would disconnect and run the game

and it would delete the game on shutdown or on next run

It should be possible as this is somthing that i would want. Seems rediculus but
id rather have everything centralized on my linux server
