Hi

I was wondering if there is a basic media player that will list a directory and let you play the files from there.

The reason I’m asking is I am moding an Xbox for my daughter. (Barbie theme)
She is only 3 so media center will be to complex.

I plan to only list her favorite games on the dash and a simple player and that’s it.

Does anyone know of one?

I suggest you create a skin for you dashboard and mediacenter.

I suggest using UnleashX. Besides MXM that's the only true skinnable dashboard (All others just allow different background images. no more)

Or just modify XBMC's xml and make your own menu. Music, Video, Off buttons.  I think its the home.xml you would have to edit.  Just remove the buttons/tags you dont want.
