Useing The Ude To Run The Xdk
« on: August 21, 2004, 08:00:00 PM »

Alright I have all the files I need to run on the PC and the xbox.  The Problem I have is since I have the UDE exploit I cant put the dev dashboard over the original 4920 i have on the root of C witch is were this dev bios points all of the files to.  So is there anyway I can get both the UDE and DEV Kit to work through the Use of PBL????

Just copy all the files that need to go on C:/ to there.  None of the files will overwrite your dashboard and there is enough room to put them both on there.  I know, I have 4920 and the debug dash both on my C:/ and they both work perfectly.  (I have a modchip but it should all work perfectly even if your using an exploit)

Exactly like he ^^^ said and use PBL to load a BFM debug bios.

This is what I wanted to do, but I'm not using UDE, just a ye olde font exploit, will this still work and do I need a hacked/cracked debug dash or just the one that comes with the XDK?

ThanX and BYEEEEE!!

dude get rid of 'ye olde font exploit', they can harm your xbox. do what everyone else has done and move over to UDE ASAP.

also if you are using original PBL, then disgard it! use pbl metoo (the remake with fixes) it doesnt suffer from the same issues as the old pbl like controller issues, USB devices, and video scrambling. you don't even get the crappy loading screen anymore and it boots in a second or two as opposed to like 12 seconds for the original.

I was so paranoid when I installed the font exploit that I don't really want to change anything incase I fuck up my Xbox. I don't have to wait long for it to load (1-2 seconds) and the only "issue" I have with it is the time gets reset everytime I boot, but I have Avalaunch as my dash, which sets the time correctly using SMTP.

Anyway, assuming that I don't switch, will I be able to have my Xbox set up for debugging?

ok fair enough. but when your xbox gets in an infinite clock loop don't start complaining that no one told you...........

I'm using the clock loop proof fonts, that's why the time resets itself on boot.
