Not sure how many times this has been brought up, but has anyone considered creating a program that conects to a ftp site, and presents a list of files, which it will then download, and place it into a folder specified by the user. I know that we have xbins, but this will rid the need for the pc.

use avalaunch.

it has an irc client, an ftp client, and can unrar/unzip files.

It also lets you download a few apps from a menu item, like xbmc, dvd2xbox, and others..
