Cda To Mp3 Ripper?
« on: June 22, 2004, 09:10:00 AM »

There is no evox based mp3 ripper (I take it you mean like the MS-Dash has one). However, it is very easy to transfer music over to the xbox hdd using Virtual Xbox Cd Ripper (or VXCR). The designer of this program also made an app that can patch files to read music from the F:\ drive too. So it is definetely worth looking in to on your part. As far as the evox thing, if you mean what I think you mean, you'd have to make a whole new dashboard. If you dont mean what I think you mean, then just use the MS-Dash one provided to you.

[EDIT]
There are also ms-dash hacks to change the way it looks. You could just use those and replace your evox dash. Or, if I was you, I'd just stick with VXCR, hehe.

dvd2xbox now supports audio cd ripping to WAV, Ogg Vorbis and MP3.

I wouldn't worry about having to design and build your own dash as Vince_V may have suggested
