I have the beta for xpad, and basicly the only thing it is good for is being the ONLY way to edit any kinda text document the xbox, Before booting into Linux.(thus a quick way to edit your evox.ini

I can open any text file(all that I've tried anyway, .txt, .xml, etc...)
by taking the . outve the name of it, edit it then put the . back  lol

evox.ini = it wont recognise for me

evoxini = it will

Go figure

Like I said, not good for much, but still a beta.

Boot into Linux and you can make/edit/copy/save, any text doc ya like using any of the many text editors for Linux, my favorite is Scite, its kinda like notepad, so I'm familar with it.    smile.gif

Actually, there's a text editor for MXM using it's ActionScript.

When the next release comes out, it will get even better wink.gif Some people plan on creating a full-fledged XML editor.  rolleyes.gif

Yep, that is what I do, the "filename shuffle"  jester.gif

Need to look into a hexedit that will let it look at all files, that would be cool...

Haven't checked, is the source available? It would be nice if someone added to that app, it is really pretty neat  beerchug.gif

The first thing I would fix (ya, right, like I could fix it )
is the way, sometimes it hits the mark, and sometimes it doesnt.
meaning... whenever my cursor is highlighting one thing, it can actually be placed/affecting someplace else (usually 3 spaces forward, or 3 backward)

but other than that, I like it  biggrin.gif

quickest (not neccisarily the easiest) way to edit an XBOX text file.
