Video Capture Problems
« on: January 28, 2004, 01:25:00 PM »

well, the search has been down, so i haven't really been able to check and see if this has been answered before...but i'm having a problem with capturing video using sdk.
i can take screenshots of games just fine...and i've taken a video capture ONCE...but hasn't work again.
i get this error: "400- D3D Snapshot Client in Invalid State (22000000)"
anyone know what i'm doing wrong?
i'm running through a linksys router btw...if that matters.

Yeah I also get the "400..." error and I have a Debug Kit. I've never been able to get video capture. Maybe it only works on a Development Kit.

i really think it has to do with a connection problem...i was able to get it to work today a few times...i'll have to try and see if it STILL works...but i was able to take both screenshots and video captures...although the video captures were horrible...making the game skip, pause... understandable though.  i'll have to invest in a capture card for the vids.

btw-i'm also using a retail box turned debug.
