Compile With Xdk Vs.net
« on: January 17, 2004, 10:50:00 AM »

It's possible to use the XDK and run a compiled XBE on a retail XBOX without any major software changes. All you'll need is a XBE patcher that patches a XBE designed for a debug XBOX to run on a retail. Check out this link on xbox-scene:

http://www.xbox-scen...php?page=xbexbx

Scroll down to the bottom and grab XBE Patch or a comparable program.

Or just compile the .xbe as 'release'.  All later x2 bios's can run debug .xbe's as well.

you can also use the Phoenix Bios loader with TATX BFM to get a debug BIOS running.. (as long as you dont have Focus Video Chipset)

Then you'll get full debug line-by-line stepping through code functionality..
