Help With Error 21

I forgot to mention one other thing that I tried:

I tried to run the dashupdate.xbe file from a live enabled game hoping that it would restore the xboxdashdata.10027100 files but I got a "Failed to update Live error".

The only thing I can think of is that in step 9 above, I accidentally picked my original backup folder instead of the copy that I made thus messing up my original?????

Argh,

I think I'm having the same thing here. I just wanted to put back my original dash, so I erased the C drive and copied back my backup. I do have the entire same directory as I had before. (The audio dir, my dash and evox files) Still, it keeps getting error 21's. I tried to resign the original dash, but then it just resets the box.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
Would be really appreciated!
