Running Xbox Games Off Pc

Several emulators already allow you to stream ROMs, ISOs or actual CDs over a network.  It may be possible in the future to run some games this way, but you would really need an incredibly fast network connection most likely.

Streaming video to XBMP is much different because it only has to run that one XBE.  But streaming an Xbox game would require some client software to pull the image in addition to the XBE being run.  As far as I know, the only way to do this would be to implement the clientside software directly into the BIOS.

Ultimately, this doesn't end up being worth the effort.

About the closest I think you would see would be some sort of dashboard addition or application that would browse FTP/Samba shares and let you select a game, Then if your HD had enough space copy it over and run it.

You would still have to wait for the FTP/Whatever to finish but it would sort of acomplish this.
