X3 Start Up Problems

hey,
anyone know whats wrong with my x3.... it will only allow my xbox to boot if i shut
it off by main dash or wait an hour after shuting it down by the power button...problem with the flashing mybe? modchips arnt my thing please help

Sounds to me like your over heating. How warm is your xbox. Please note, Ive never seen this problem so I may very well be wrong.
