Extractor For ".pak" Files

I was just bored and i was hexin outlaw vollyball files and I noticed that they have a directory structure that points to other files within the ".PAK" I've searched around google and couldent find anything.... If anybody could help me out with this it would be much appreciated

Uhm.... That's a popular architecture for Q1 Q2 and I think Q3A game files. Try Dragon Extractor, or PAKZIP... Or something. I forget.

er), but it seems the .pak files are different in OV...

dont forget half-life uses .pak but it differs from quake of course most likey its something totally new

In searching for PAXFILE I found several references to a *nix archiver pax. Perhaps it's something to do with this?
