not having any luck with the resigning process at all.

can't add a xap to a xip, or a xip to the xbe.

sometimes the program will create some ugly temp files and if you save it just saves all the rubbish into the xap without you realising..... dunno. just doesn't like me i spose heh

also, i don't know if this would affect anything, but when you add the xips to the xbe to be resigned, and then extract the xips.csv with pixit or pixit GUI, the xips are in reverse alphabetical order.. would that cause any problems?

I suggest  using the 'Browse...' button when resigning...

Also, the order of the files in the XIP shouldn't matter, MS does it one way, I do it another way, it's just that.
The reason pixit ordered the file similiar to the way MS ordered them, it's because of the list is in the same order than what was in the original file.

with a new xap file, if you want to look at that.

i've noticed a bug where i editted default.xipdefault.xap, and then reinserted it.  if you go to another .xap in any .xip file, you get garbage.  after reinserting the modified .xap, i just closed winxip and reopened the file, that fixed it.

NEVERMIND - I'M AN IDIOT...
------------------------------------

I need a hand!  I've been trying to re-sign my .xbe ALL day, and have not succeeded a single time!

First off, WINXIP NEVER un-grey's the "browse" button - even AFTER I've loaded my .xbe that I wish to resign.  The .xbe file exists in the SAME folder as the .xip files and it is NOT write-protected.

What's wrong???

CODE

...
  WORD wCount = m_xbe.GetCount();
...
  if(wCount > 0)
     GetDlgItem(IDC_BUTTON_FOLDER)->EnableWindow(TRUE);
...

Not much room for a bug in the above line(s)...

i dunno if i am making a stupid mistake or what, but it doesnt show any .xbx files when trying to insert them into a .xip archive

the pic wont work unless u copy and paste this url

http://teamstaticpb.....com/winxip.jpg

also i noticed that .xpx was a supported image type, is that a typo and supposed to be .xbx?
