It might just be a simple call to the already available reboot/shutdown.xbe available

Dont think ms dash has code for it but who knows right now.

Xtech could you possibly just put the code in a text file for the ppl that like to manually add code?

I would love to see how you accomplished this cause i have been working on the same thing with no luck.

And if you don't want it to be released you could privately send it to me on efnet under the name Gcue if you want.

Thnx either way

I sure as hell hope that Xtech didn't just rename the strings and add a few extra records to the array to get a scrolling list box because that's already implemented in the code..

if you have successfully duplicated the settings menu (which is what i'm currently working on) i'd like to know how you got it working because all i get is the sound plays but i'm still left at the main menu even though it calls to teh function 'GoToLauncher' which i made...

Xtech can u please post the pics somewhere id like to see them and your link is down.
MSdash is animated and much cooler than any hoebrew dashboard.
atm i got the "blackbolt skin for evoX and thats as close to the original MSdash as ive seen
but no where near as good. if u can edit msdash to work homebrew man that would be the ultimate
dash and crash all dashes

althought mxm does have promise

Just a quick question for Xtech, if you did get the menu's to work like that authentically (animations transitions, sounds, and the final sub menu) is ther anyway that you could post the code. or even upload a tutorial on how you did it. uhh.gif

Just add another button to the main menu and duplicate the settings section.  Keep in mind your going to want to pay attention the how the icon changes when you highlight menu items.  I'd assign the system info icon to apps and the t.v. icon to "entertainment items". (personal pref)  And of course the power settings icon to power off and reboot.

Get yourself some chopsticks and start picking through your food...  If you've already done something like that what I've said above won't sound so foreign.

Not yet...being worked on.

Not Posting the code, yet. It involves alot of changing things, and some new functions.

I will soon have a PC app, using pixit(by da man_Voltaic) that will create, edit and add menu items in a click or two. Be patient, should have it completely functional sun or mon.

Hey Xtech, just wondering, were you able to copy the settings menu or did you use that layout to make yours?
Either way it looks great.

Dont let posts like that one disencourage you. Loss of credit already pissed off Voltaic. And your work already seems to be good, so, why stop this!

Isn't that what we are here for???
Help finding bugs to make a program even better (than it will be anyways) is a good chance for people to contribute to the great work of voltaic and xtech at least a little bit!!!!
