if you have the recent XDK you should have 3 files , one files says Recoverydisk5558.exe , xdksetup5558.exe and 5558_recovery_with_symbols.zip , in the zip is the iso and the debug default.xbe

You really shouldn't have put the debugging files on the Xbox if you didn't know what you were doing and didn't need them (as it sounds like you didn't from what you say).

i have the recent XDK for the XBox and PC , but i never changed the XBox to a Debug cause if i did then i couldnt play Live, i have done amazing apps with it but i dont release them, i use them for me only.not sure but i think if you change the XBox Retail to Debug your bios change. unsure.gif   muhaha.gif

try using a mod chip to see if it plays them.or use the old HD to bring it back to normal , if you didnt use it for your PC  wink.gif

Hey Vegetal, it means that you first open the XBE file with DeXBE program, then select "Patch to Debug" from the menu and its done! Although you can do it with CXBX too.

I've been following this thread for awhile, and I have to wonder if vegetal really has a debug kit... From what I have read, he doesn't seem to know much about coding, or grammar...

Note to vegetal: If you really have one, I'm sorry, I'm just a  suspicious person wink.gif

 blink.gif i agree

Read on in the bioses section about the xecutor bios booting from the harddrive.  This will be your easiest solution if you really have a debug kit.  This bios will load from the harddrive and allow you to play originals and 'backups'.
