Well then there is only one alternative, swap dvd drives using a dvd drive other than stock, then insert a signed backup copy. Sounds like a no-fun hassle.

Nope. Non-stock DVD drives won't allow the Xbox to see the disc as the correct type (and besides, the drive itself will only see the DVD movie portion)

Really, don't try and stretch the situation here, there isn't anything "new" here - the whole deal is well understood by now, a year into hacking the Xbox.

I also have another question....... I can get all the stuff onto my madcatz 8mb memory card..... but when i go into an unmodded xbox....... how do i copy it to the hard drive.... it only gives me the option to delete it

Please the right button to access the saves "inside the box". Then, click on those.

you need to bridge some solder pads, not wires
