So I was talkin with some guys on the xbox live forum here at the scene, and came up with an idea.
So we've all figured out that the xbox "downloadable content" is xbox specific. There's also been confirmed that it is EEPROM specific.
So here's my idea, perhaps someone can make it happen.
Since we understand that the EEPROM is somehow in direct link with the downloadable content working on your particular xbox. Also, I'm not sure if Live is even required once the problem is "fixed."
Rumor has it that OXM has stated that they will release the Live exclusive content (some of it) later on their "demo disc."
So what we'll need (whoever decides to work on the project) is :
2 x Individual EEPROMs from machine A and B
2 x Live accounts for machine A and B
2 x EvoX (or other menu driven / ftp-able dash) supported Modchips
You can see where I'm going with this. Somehow, there are individualities programmed into these downloads, and there has to be a way to unlock what makes them be so.
If we can figure that out, then a patcher can be made...and then....download whatever content you want from whatever sources you want, put in your EEPROM info in the program and viola! patched content that works with your system.
Anyway, like I said before, I can't program worth a shit, so hopefully someone will see this, understand my dreams (haha) , and make it happen.
Anyway,
let's do it!
