interlaced, you know your NTSC tv is interlaced right? Your monitor is progressive scan...
anyways it's almost impossible to produce an interlaced picture at an angle on photoshop, anyway if he photoshoped he would just release it progressive scanned...

See the lines on the tv screen?

Not to throw a monkey wrench into the argument, but how do you know it isn't a BMP (which was made using photoshop) displayed on a TV?

It's not photoshoped because it's interlaced.

say what

See the lines on the screenshot he posted? That means it 'interlaced'

There are two types of Video: Interlaced and progressive (1-6)

Interlaced draws the scan lines on the TV in odd then even sets i.e. 1,3,5 then 2,4,6

Progressive: draws the scan lines in sequence: 1,2,3,4,5,6 therefore getting rid of those black lines

Progessive and interlaced both have their advantages but overall progressive scan (look for this when buying a new DVD player if your TV supports it) looks better.

many HDTVs can display (i=interlaced, p=pogressive, and the # is the number of scan lines): 480i (standard NTSC), 480p, 720p, 1080i (True Hi-Def)

Also, there is a halo hacking channel on EFNet, not sure of the name but i will post when i find it, but they could make good use of the .xbe smile.gif

Haha I didn't think of that, but I've seen the flame thrower picture thrown around before from semi legit sources. And even Bungie admitted that there were weapons cut from the game at production time.

this probably work on a debug box, as it is a beta. I'm making a debug box right now. Send it over and I'll try it out.

I have seen the beta xbe discussed in this thread. As the first poster noted, it is broken. It appears to be Halo code with differences from the Halo retail code and with appropriate strings. It's missing a valid header, so it doesn't execute on a debug or retail console.

read above (and further above if you wanna see where he originally posted it.
