I am a intermediate visual basic encoder so I know that the sources are produced with c++ usually. I was wondering if there are any programs that are made for c++ with a good interface. I would like to be able to edit the interfaces of any programs that were made for xbox that the source codes were released. I also know that it will be hard for me knowing that I dont know c++ I am good at reading syntax however.

If anyone has any really good c++ guide's for newbs or online links to guides please post em in this forum. Thank You

Probably start with (Visual?) C++ in 21 Days or some other quick learning book...

You need the (*gasp*, illegal) XDK, and Visual C++ 6.0 (or .NET for the newest XDK), with Service Pack 5 and the newest Processor Pack. Thats pretty much the only option you have for anything in Xbox Coding, besides OpenXDK, which still uses Visual C++ 6.0

Try Bruce Eckel's 'Thinking in C++ vol 1 & 2'
It's very good and last but not least, it's free.
You can download it at www.mindview.net
