What Is Xbdm All About?
« on: February 08, 2003, 05:42:00 AM »

Hi guys,

I just noticed something that looks interesting. On debug machines there is a file xbdm.dll. From what I can gather this file is loaded by the debug bios and handles all the remote debugging stuff.

What I was wondering was, has anybody taken a look at the debug symbols for this file supplied with the XDK? What are the imports/exports of this dll? and most importantly could we write a replacement for this file that would allow us to write trainers/device drives/all the other things we cannot do because we cant write memory resident code.

Note when I say we I really mean other people with more tallent than me.
