Cool.  I wanna check out PASV mode.

New news...  My X2P shipped today!  Just a few days 'til I get it.

Got some weird behaviour when testing the latest version, looks like it opens a new connection for each file that is transferred (new port for each file, portnumber just incremented by 1). It started out transferring quickly, and as it progressed the speed kept dropping. By the time I cancelled the transfer it had drop from about 5.5mbps to 20kbps.

This was while transferring a game with lots of small files. I will try to transfer just a few large files and see if I can figure out just what is going on.

Opening a new connection for every file is normal behaviour.
About the drop in transfer speeds, this should not happen, so this probably is a bug.
I will do some more tests, though I have not encountered this problem before.
Please keep me posted on any problems you encounter, hope you have your debug box up and running soon !

Wait...  It's incrementing the port number after every transfer?

Yeah, when I cancelled the operation it was up to port 1150 or something, steadily increasing with 1 for each file

I tried transferring some more files, and got the same behaviour.

Wow.  I couldn't find much on how PASV (or PORT) should work.

Just what's in the RFC.

What client are you using?

I'll be debugging my own PASV stuff next week.

I'm using WsFtp 5.08Le as a client. I'll check out some other ones tomorrow if I find the time.
