Problem With Compiling...
« on: January 28, 2003, 02:07:00 AM »

I have been playing with the various tutorials available for the XDK, when I compile one for the first time it creates a whole bunch of files in the Debug,

The important one being the XBE file, However when I recompile, no matter how much I change the code, It still gives me the same XBE, Even if I choose 'Build-->Clean' and 'Build--> Rebuild All' it still gives me the EXACT same xbe,

If I use explorer to delete all the files in the debug directory, and then rebuild it, it works fine!

Any clues?

Thanks!

(If I'm being dumb please tell me!)

Also, you shouldn't be using Debug (unless you have a debug box, of course.

Thanks for the help guys,

I'll check it out tonight,

I have written a VB/Batch file routine that automatically ftp's and transfers the file then launches it. so if I can solve this issue it will be 100% automated.

Thanks Again!

if you have have the Complex 1.03 Debug BIOS you dont need a debug box.

With Complex Debug Bios you get full remote debug tools and full remote debugging in VC++ !!
