I am updating my FATX renamer to output a BATch file that will un-rename the files.  This was suggested by another post in this thread and I liked the idea.  It makes the xbox a practical device to transport stuff around on(in).  For example, you could rename 20,000 mp3's, ftp them to your xbox.  Then you haul your xbox over to your bud's house and you want to play them on his pc.  You can then ftp them up to his PC and run the batch which would return them to the original file names.

As for combining them..maybe..maybe not.  I am one of those who like using the right tool for the right job and not trying to use a swisse army knife to rebuild my Impala's engine.  There are already better all-in-one apps so there is no since in re-inventing the wheel.  I initially wrote them to learn and pick stuff apart and to accomplish something specific (moving 90g of mp3's onto the xbox).

New version (that is not ready yet) now doesn't have a file limit,
I just need to test somethings before realeasing,
I would like to know if chilin_dude or maybe wolfie could email-me a "tree /f /a >files.txt" of thier mp3s directory, that would be extremely helpful.

Or anyone that has more than 20000 mp3 could also send me files.txt. Just e-mail me

[email protected]

thanks alot in advance for the help.
