Macromedia Flash Player...

The XDK is targetted at C/C++ and that's really the only viable option for writing homebrew code for the XBox at this point in time.

To write a flash interpreter for the XBox you'd need a pretty good knowledge of C, intimately understand the flash file format and inner works and have experience implementing virtual machines.  This is certainly not a project for a beginner.

Flash (for win32) has a lot of dependencies that don't exist on the xbox.  So your best bet would be to get the linux version running on an xbox before you could get the win32 one running. (Which in itself is no small feat)

As for game development, a strong understanding of C and the arch you're trying to develop for is really essential.  With the xbox, the learning curve isn't so steep for most developers.
If you have a weak understanding of modern graphic engines, you should read up on them also.

Good luck!

The big question is: "where is portable code for a Flash Player"

It could even start out as a player for early version of Flash.

I'd like to find this myself, as it would open up some neat possibilities on the Xbox, but I've got too much on my plate already.

I'de agree that doing a win32 flash would be retarted,

But I think the linux version wouldn't be AS hard as starting from an early version or from win32

If it could be done it would open up totally new dash design and layout.... fun

Well, the rendering would be simple for the Xbox, as should sound.

It's tracking the format and movement that gets complicated, and that code should be fairly portable between platforms.
