Can Actual Debug Rom Be Flashed To 1mb On Retail?

I was looking for more of a "I tried it and it didn't work", but well I've tested myself, and if anyone wonders, no it doesnt work. I was running complex debug already on one of my machines but was wondering about the feasability of making a system that thinks it's a real debug system. Flashed the tsop using the bios on the recovery cd, and restored using simple lpc flash.

Well then, Here you go..   "Tried it, didnt work !"

The reason for that is the Debug Kit Bios has a different RC4 than the Retail XBOX. in fact i dont even think it's encrypted at all...

You can use the Kernel.exe file from the SDK and rebuild a valid BIOS if you know what u r doing...  All the info is on the XBOX Linux site to create a BIOS from a valid kernel..
