Well i give you a big bravo for the aproach to getting people to make this work for ya but i dont think your going to see it happen anytime soon, now i have heard that there is still hope for the ps1 emulator, not sure when its coming out though.

Damn, I'm so fucking sick of hearing people think that it's even REMOTELY possible to emulate the PS2 on ANY platform (for now and a very, very long time). In Staples today, I got thrown out because their 'computer technician' called me a liar because I said a working PS2 emulator doesn't exist... he claimed it was just 'hard to find'.

I've been in this guys store. He said that a PS emulator was running and a Beta of a PS2 emulator was running. If you doubt him, Email him and ask his sources.

But it's not nearly an alpha, much less a beta.

And there's nothing about it running on the Xbox. Jeez - just drop it, and don't let it spill into multiple pointless threads. It is not happening now, nor in the nearest future. Me? I'm just happy for what I have right now. MAME, XSnes9x, FBAlpha, GBAX, FCEUltra. All have many many excellent games.

For me it's now Chrono Trigger. What an great game....

Here we are here's how you get PS2 playign games on an XBOX

1. Take one PS2 and 1 XBOX
2. Take them to bits
3. Insert PS2 Internal gubbins into XBOX
4. Switch on you new XBOX/PS2

TADA low and behold your xbox can now play PS2 games (reverse process to play xbox games again

P.s who wants to play PS2 games on an xbox anyway when we have mame to play with.

If u want a PS2 go purchase one i here they are a very good console.

I don't know why your attacking me, I think he is a hoax also. I told him that there was no such thing as a PS2 emulator on the XBox, but he said that "online web sites lie". I tryed to get a source out of him but he wouldn't tell me. I thought if enough people asked him, he would have to tell someone where he got the idea that there is a PS2 emulator on the XBox.

the only games that I would like from ps2 are grand theft auto 3 and grand theft auto vice city... and I have gta3 on comp... so I don't care

Heh, phreaking was fun. Anyone ever make one of those itty boxes where you would press a button and it'd emit the noise that would trick a payphone into thinking you inserted a quarter? I got free calls/petty money by doing this... it was quite cool.
Of course, they changed the phone system now, so it no longer gets tricked into thinking you inserted a quarter mearly because you sent the noise through the receiver. But it was cool when the system was dumb enough.

Yeah, I made one of those once. You'd simply get a phone dialer from radio shack and replace the crystal inside with a 16MHz crystal. That raised the frequency of all tones the dialer made. The new frequency of the star button happened to be the same frequency that the payphone would send to the phone company to indicate a quarter had been accepted.

You'd have to program a macro so that it did 5 stars in a row (5=quarter).

That thing sure did come in handy...
