Why Is Xbmp So Bad Divx Quality?

will it ever get better with some post processing like pc? i was watching a divx and it was a bit pixelated and unclear, and the sound was out of sink.

mine works great, i have no problems with my divx movies, maybe it's the divx file itself.

ok well some of the divxs looked a lot better than others, i guess none were really bad.

the main problem is the speech lagging behind or vice versa. will they ever make an adjustment for this? because that would make it perfect.

Beacuse the xbox isn't so powerful.

On PC u can choose different  quality level "more filters"

i dont think so. my pc is only 800mhz, it doesnt have ddr ram, a kick ass nvidea(sp.) video chip, its running windows xp pro the biggest hog of processing power of them all, it runs divx through media player 9 which is inefficient with all that browsing capability in it, my pc in not a console running only one program. a console should be much faster even for the same hardware as a pc.

all this and my pc still looks better?  maybe those mediaplayer people just need to get around to putting those filters and post processing in there and clean it up.

I agree that the sound does seem to lag on some divx.  

But, I don't doubt that the player will be improved upon as development continues...therefore, I trust that the divx playback capabilities will someday be great.
