Wondered if anyone could help.
I installed a Maxtor 80gb Hard Drive in my Xbox.
Got everything running fine, was able to boot from f drive with FC BIOS.
Went on live a few times - no problem (chip was switched off and Hard Drive was locked.
Was playing on Top Spin (Live) and finished a game. The screen went to update stats and then foze....Xbox game me the message ' switch off your xbox'
Did that, switched on....then guess what?
Hard drive was locked and showed 0's in the partitions.
Went to launch config magic and when I try to launch - the xbox switches off and reboots again?
O.K I though and put in another Hard Drive that I have (this is not a lockable hard drive)
Booted up and launched config magic, hotswapped to my normal hard drive and tried to unlock - but it just gives the message ' error unlocking hard drive?
Can anyone help?
All my games and saveds are on this hard drive and I cant get back in to it.
