Menux Game Selector

well u can run game selector on dvd as well.  why would u want to run gameselector on HD?  jus curious cause i haven't played game from HD but i assume u can select which game u want to play already

If I'm correct, Menux lets you have neat pics to represent your menu choice before you choose it. I think it even lets you insert a small description of the executable you're about to run (i.e. You could have the cover of Hunter: The Reckoning with [maybe] a small description of what the game is [You slash the shit out of monsters.... fun gore!]).
That's why I'd want it on the HD. Only downside is you'd have to FTP a new copy  of the configuration file (the file that determines where the executables are and what pic to display) to the XBox from your comp every time you change it, since you need a keyboard to modify the configuration file for it.

yeah me and some other guy on the forums already tried getting it to work. simply, it wont. what i believe is, the program is designed to call up the d: drive and look for the correct game folders (as made in the menu.xdi file). so...i think we need the source for the prog to change this around to work with games on f: or e:. the other guy that tried this, hex editted the xbe unsuccessfully. i dunno, maybe the new evox will have something similar to this, or, if you know anyone from complex, ask um to see if they could rework it to launch from the hdd.
