Usb Adapter For Xbox?!

I´m looking for adapter that converts XboX´s gamecontroller ports to conventional USB ports so you can attach USB Mouse and keyboard to your XboX. It would be nice and cheap to build.
But does it require drivers or something??

The device would be simple enough to build. I would expect that drivers might be needed but that all depends if m$ plan to add similar official devices at some point.

If they do then drivers will be in there somewhere, otherwise its gonna be a hard slog.

I suspect that if drivers are in there they would probably be slightly non standard so it prevents 'home' solutions using cheap PC parts which would stop m$ making a fortune on overpriced add on hardware.
