glad you got it going .... feels good dont it!

why dont you add a extra dvd rom drive to the xbox & this will solve your media problem! .... with the extra dvd rom drive you can use ANY media .. from cd-r to the cheapest dvd-r/dvd-rw.

Are you sure you need this folder?  I assumed if you deleted it out of the config.txt file that you didn't have to leave it.  The readme says that they included it just to show how it use it.

Please let me know if I'm wrong on this.  Thanks for the informative post though either way... I just wanted to be sure one way or the other.

This is a pretty cool frontend though.  Really nice to be able to launch a bunch of games/hombrew software all from one DVD-R(W).  I had 7 different games/homebrew stuff and all was fine.  A big thanks to the creator(s).

Ever since Snow pointed me in this direction my disc have worked everytime...6 out of 6 so far...Still have to reboot my XBOx a few times for them to read but that may be because of the EvolutionX .xbe or my media...

But it does look likt you need that folder...

i was thinking the same thing ... but since all mine work & gcompton was having problems with his & as soon as he added the xbmedia it solved his problems .... so why fix something that NOT broken ... & 4mb aint going to hurt.

I am an idiot.....Looked closer and my .rar of cpxmenx didn't have the xbmedia folder...Once I added these and reburned everything worked fine... I still have to reboot 3-4 time for the DVD-RW to read.... Wonder if I need to use something besides Princo DVD-RW.... Thanks again Snow....

Lethal, I did take the XBPlayer lines out, I had copied a config.txt that Snow had posted..

No need to change the .xbe files using MenuX.
After Columbian Snow got me on the right path with info above I'm 15/15 with 99% working DVD-RW(Princo)

With Custom Music and Graphics
