Xbox Dvd Dongle

I agree completely.

I just got my xbox today (MFT Date 2002-04-10).

When the xbox is a fully fledged mediatermial (as I'm pretty sure it will be one day, through the help of programs like xbplayer) it would be a pity not to use the existing hardware like the dvdremote.

On another note, I read somewhere that xboxes manufactured after Jan 2002 should read CDR's easier, I'm sitting now and toying with different media.

I'm burning an audiocd on a 80min Fujifilm Highspeed (10x) CDRW media now, previous attempts with TDK 74min RefleX didn't work too well (xbox didn't recognice the disc)

biggrin.gif

Anyway when reading up ur post i saw ur point and it's has some good points... making it work on a infrared mouse or something will be hard i think not only would the devices have to "talk" the right way with eachother but also a mouse driver has to be installed, i mean wich can sense your clicking moving (slow/fast) etc.

I think that's quite hard but yet there are some smart guys out there smile.gif (Hi!)

hehe, but the idea of how to use the remote to control other stuff sounds much nicer, if your going to web-browse this could solve a lot of problems...
