Exacuter2.3b Lite With Ver 1.6

Hi I have exacuter2.3b lite mod chip with a v1.6 xbox. Do i have to flash my xbox mothboard first before I install my modchip im new with the version 1.6 can someone help me Or give me a diagram on how to ty jokerswild
